Aireen Omar is a seasoned business leader, board director, and innovation strategist known for driving transformation across complex industries in Southeast Asia. With more than two decades of executive leadership spanning capital markets, aviation, digital strategy, travel tech, edutech, fintech and venture building, Aireen has been at the forefront of building high-growth businesses and shaping future-ready ecosystems. She previously served in senior leadership roles at one of Asia’s most recognised brands, AirAsia, including serving as their first woman CEO at AirAsia Berhad , which is also one of the first in Asia. She then pioneered digital transformation and expanded regional reach for the Group. More recently, Aireen led investment and venture initiatives, incubating and accelerating strategic growth platforms that power new business models in ASEAN.

Today, she serves as a board director and advisor to multiple organisations, bringing deep expertise in strategy, innovation, business model evolution, and governance. Her leadership is informed by a global business perspective and a commitment to building impactful, inclusive growth.
